Product description
The Pt1000 waterproof temperature sensor is an accurate and robust sensor for measuring and controlling temperatures in wet and outdoor environments. The sensor operates on the Pt1000 principle (1000 Ω at 0 °C) and requires no supply voltage, making it highly reliable for professional control engineering.
Thanks to its waterproof IP67/IP68 design and metal sensor sleeve, this Pt1000 sensor is extremely suitable for underwater measurements, such as in ponds, pools and other damp installations. The silicone connection cable is flexible, heat-resistant and weather-resistant.
The sensor is widely used in combination with thermostats, temperature controllers and frost protection systems for heating cables and trace heating applications.
Product application
The Pt1000 waterproof sensor is suitable for, among other things:
- Measuring and controlling temperature underwater
- Pond and basin heating
- External applications with heating cables or tracing
- Frost protection and temperature control in technical installations
The 2-core signal cable can, if desired, be extended up to a maximum of 50 metres, without any adverse effect on measurement accuracy (when correctly connected).
