The Mobeye ThermoGuard is a reliable temperature alarm detector. In an alarm situation, it sends notifications via push notification, phone call, SMS or email.
The temperature control is useful, for example, to prevent frost damage. Especially for outdoor use there is the Ground Frost Detector.

Features
External sensor monitors temperature
The temperature sensor is digital and extremely accurate. The minimum and/or maximum temperature limit is adjustable between -35 °C and +70 °C. The sensor is factory-calibrated and displays the value to decimal accuracy.
You can set up a telephone alarm notification for 1 to 5 different numbers, both mobile and landline.
Battery-powered temperature alarm
The 4G temperature monitor does not rely on the mains power supply. Its power consumption is very low and it operates for longer than a year on the supplied batteries.
Using the optional mains adaptor (see image), this 4G temperature monitor can also operate on 230 volts. This has the advantage that you also receive an alert if the mains power fails. This is an important option, particularly for refrigeration equipment.
Suitable for any SIM card
The wireless temperature alarm contains a 4G temperature module, for which you can use any standard SIM card, both on contract and prepaid.
In addition to the connection for the external temperature sensor, there are 2 volt-free alarm inputs. Any volt-free switching contact can serve to generate an alarm, such as a alarm contact for securing a (cold store) door or a window.

In addition to the temperature sensor, the Mobeye ThermoGuard (CM4200) has two NO/NC inputs for connecting alarm contacts and sensors. This also monitors the status of a device or external sensor, such as an air conditioner or door contact.
Battery or mains powered
The 4G temperature monitor runs for at least one year on a set of batteries and reports itself when they are running low.
In combination with an external adapter (select option: with power supply unit + cable), you will also receive an SMS message when the mains power fails. That is often the first indication that something out of the ordinary is going on.
Temperature alarm setting options
The temperature alarm has many setting options, temperature limits, user-defined alarm texts, alarm repetition and alarm delay, as well as the text message contents.
Batteries are included; minimum battery life 1 year. It is ready for use straight away with a standard SIM card.
Tip: Using your own mobile phone, you can check in advance whether the provider offers a sufficient signal at the desired location. You need to purchase the SIM card (2G) yourself or use the standard 4G SIM card supplied by the manufacturer.

Added value SIM/portal
As a SIM card, we advise activating the supplied Mobeye SIM card. This allows the device to communicate via both 4G LTE-M and 2G and is “multi-provider”. It selects the strongest local network, has excellent penetration capability and therefore provides a reliable connection. With the Mobeye SIM card, the device is also connected to the Mobeye Portal and the Mobeye Messages app. This provides extra security and user-friendliness. The status of one or more devices can be seen at a glance on the dashboard. Programming is done online, the receipt of test messages is checked automatically, and in the event of problems, contacts are alerted via app, call, text message and/or email. Forwarding to an alarm receiving centre (ARC) is also possible. The SIM card costs €4/month* excl. VAT (flat fee for normal use), (annual) payment is online, or -upon request- by invoice. A personal SIM card is also possible (NL: KPN or Vodafone, NOT T-Mobile or subsidiaries). The device will then work (solely) via 2G and the Mobeye Portal functions will cease to apply. In the event of an alarm, it will call and/or text (to a maximum of 5 numbers). Please note that a pay-as-you-go card expires if it is not used for too long.
