SMC 30 heating cable
Extra strong heating cable that can withstand impact. Hard plastic outer casing in UV and weather-resistant design. The heating cable is equipped with waterproof plugs and on one side a 3-meter-long connection end that does not get hot.
The heat output is 30 watts per meter of cable length. This heating cable is resistant to high temperatures, up to a maximum of +90 °C in continuous operation. A temperature control (thermostat) is always required for this type of cable.
Product application
This heating cable is suitable for applications where higher heat output per meter is required, such as:
- Frost protection for pipes in heavily loaded or cold environments
- Heating of concrete floors, driveways and pavements
- Industrial applications and technical installations
- Applications underwater or in permanent outdoor environments
Due to the constant power of 30 W/m, temperature control is always mandatory, for example with an external thermostat or frost regulator. This prevents overheating and optimizes energy consumption.
