Product description
Thin, flexible heating cable with a strong plastic outer sheath. This 230V heating cable is equipped with waterproof connectors and a flat connection cable on one side, which is only 4 mm thick. Applications: underfloor heating in bathrooms and kitchens. Also suitable for planter beds, billiards tables and other special applications. Beware of overheating: always maintain a minimum 5 cm cable spacing between warm cable sections. The heat output is approximately 10 watts per meter of cable length. A temperature controller (thermostat) is always required for this type of cable. See below under Related Products.
Applications
Loadable up to 18 watts/m
This heating cable is capable of delivering up to 18 watts per meter, provided it can dissipate its heat properly. Shortening it to a maximum of 50% of its original length is technically possible, taking into account the safety aspects of the insulation to be installed.
