Product description
The UTR‑60 temperature controller is a robust, waterproof thermostat designed specifically for outdoor installations and humid environments. Thanks to the IP65 enclosure, the controller is completely protected from dust and water jets, making it ideal for applications such as frost protection of pipes, roof gutters, rainwater pipes, and technical outdoor installations.
The thermostat has an adjustable temperature range of –5 °C to +10 °C, allowing it to switch automatically based on the measured ambient temperature. This makes the UTR‑60 particularly suitable for systems that only need to be switched on in the event of frost danger, saving energy and extending the lifespan of the installation.
The device is easy to install and comes with an external sensor for precise temperature measurement.
Applications
- Protection against frost of water pipes and outdoor faucets
- Roof gutter and rain pipe heating
- To control heating cables
The relay’s switch contact provides 230V power to the heating cables if the measured temperature is below the set value. The robust plastic housing is suitable for wall mounting outdoors. The sensor’s connection cable can be extended up to a maximum of 100m using a normal 2x 1.5mm2 signal cable.
