De-icing for earthworks
Defrost mats for outdoor work in winter. These heat mats meet the toughest requirements and have been developed for rough conditions. With eyelets on the corners and sides to keep the mat in place. Protected against overheating.
Decomposes 30 to 60 cm deep in 24 hours, depending on the soil type. Equipped with reflective material on one side. Equipped with a sturdy cable and grounded plug.
Applications
Examples of applications
Freezing of soil, sand, water pipes, drainage pipes, feed in silos or pit hoppers. Making the soil frost-free (excavation work), maintenance work on stairs, bridges, etc. Preheating of ground cables for mains power and telecom, making all kinds of machines frost-free, and heating of masonry work. De-icing for drilling wells
One version has been specially developed for (drilling) wellbores. This mat has a hole in the center, through a notch on one side. This small square mat is also suitable for surrounding other vertical pipes, masts or structures that penetrate the ground.
