Scheme for road surface heating for 3 elements
The system ensures that the road surface heating is activated automatically as soon as there is a danger of ice, sleet or snow causing slippery conditions. When the road surface is (again) dry, it switches off the installation, so that energy consumption remains limited.
This system is suitable for any type of road heating system, regardless of the energy source: electric, central heating or heat pump. It can be mounted on a DIN rail (in a switch cabinet) or against the wall. You can control the settings via the LCD screen.
The system can switch on 3 elements of 16 A (400 Volt), that is 3x 3600 watts. For higher powers you need an external switch relay.
Applications
Door-mounted sensor measures temperature and humidity
The road deck sensor can be used in concrete or asphalt. Placement in a pavement with tiles or street curbs is also possible. The connection cable between the sensor and the controller can be extended (by 6x 1.5 mm2) up to a maximum of 200 meters.
