Product description
Extra strong heating cable that can withstand impact. Plastic outer casing in UV and weather resistant version. This heating cable is equipped with waterproof plugs. It has a 3-meter-long connection end on one side that does not heat up. The heat output is 20 watts per meter of cable length. This heating cable provides a constant power and is resistant to temperatures of +70 °C in continuous operation. A temperature control (thermostat) is always required for this type of cable.
Product application
The heating cable HT20 is widely used for:
- Frost protection of water pipes and drains
- Protection of pipes in garages, garden sheds, greenhouses, caravans and boats
- Light floor or object heating
- Applications where a constant heat output of 20 W/m is required
The cable is suitable for installation in metal and plastic pipes (for plastic pipes, the use of aluminum tape is recommended for good heat distribution). Use in combination with a thermostat or frost switch is highly recommended for energy-efficient use.
