Product description
Flexible thin heating wire in lengths from 1 to 6 metres. Forms a single unit with two permanently integrated connection wires. Including the heat-resistant silicone insulation, it is only 3 millimetres in diameter!
This heating cable is designed for specialised applications in the fields of (underfloor) heating, agriculture and horticulture (planters), condensation control (windows, doors), preventing freezer doors from freezing shut, and frost protection.
Self-regulating is for frost protection of pipes heating tape more suitable.
Applications
Heating wire – 10 or 30 watts per metre
This heating wire is available in 10-watt or 30-watt per metre versions.
Please note: the 30 W/m heating cable can get very hot! Ensure that it can properly dissipate its heat, for example by mounting it on a metal surface (using aluminium tape) or in a metal profile/strip.
