This closure set is specially designed for shortening and re-waterproofing the FV‑25 type heat seal. When a heat seal is too long for its intended purpose, it can be shortened professionally with this set and fitted with a reliable final seal.
The set includes all the necessary components, including adhesive strips, a waterproof end cap, and clear assembly instructions. The use of adhesive strips and an end cap creates a sturdy, moisture-resistant seal that protects the heating strip from external influences.
This shut-off set is an essential accessory for installers who want to make custom thermal insulation for pipes, drains or technical installations.

For proper assembly, the following procedure is recommended:
- Leave the power cord with the plug attached; this remains the fixed connection point.
- Cut off the length of the other end of the heating wire.
- Insulate the conductors according to the instructions.
- Mount the end cap and shrink tube by heating it with hot air (e.g., hair dryer or paint heater).
- This creates a sturdy, waterproof seal.
- Important: The factory screws are applied mechanically under pressure and with special adhesive.
