The Pt1000 sensor in IP65 housing (Pt1000-1084) is a reliable outdoor sensor for measuring and controlling temperature in humid and sheltered outdoor environments. The sensor operates according to the Pt1000 resistance principle (1000 Ω at 0 °C) and does not require a power supply, ensuring accurate and interference-free measurements.
The Pt1000 sensor is housed in a waterproof plastic housing with protection class IP65, making it ideal for applications where splashes of water, condensation or dust are present. The housing is equipped with a waterproof cable gland and internal connection terminals, enabling a safe and neat installation.
This version is widely used in combination with Pt1000-compatible thermostats and temperature controllers for frost protection and temperature monitoring.
Product application
The Pt1000 IP65 box is suitable for, among other things:
- Outdoor temperature measurement
- Frost protection of pipes and installations
- Temperature control for heating cables and tracing systems
- Measurements in technical spaces and semi-open environments
The 2-wire signal cable can be extended without significant loss of measurement accuracy to a maximum of 50 meters, allowing the controller to be safely installed indoors.
