Temperature regulator 3000 W
Automatic temperature control for one or more heating cables or electric heaters. Beautiful, compact casing, specifically designed for wall mounting, with power cord with round-shaped plug. [NB: This temperature controller is not suitable for outdoor use, only for cooling equipment]
The on/off temperature (hysteresis) can be set separately, with a resolution of 0.1 °C. The temperature on the display also displays 1 digit after the comma.
This temperature controller is very easy to operate and has a memory for the highest and lowest measured temperature. The values in the memory remain intact if you temporarily disconnect the mains power.
The setting range of the temperature controller is wide, from -55 to +125 Celsius. This makes it suitable for frost protection but also for all kinds of applications with electric heating, including heating cables.
Applications
When applying frost protection, the connected device or heating tape You will only receive mains voltage if the ambient temperature is lower than the switching temperature you have set yourself. A value of 3 to 5 °C is typical for this, but you can easily adjust that.
This temperature controller comes standard with a metal sensor. As an option, you can choose a waterproof metal or plastic sensor.
Heating for tropical fish
This digital device is useful, for example, for controlling the water temperature in a tank with tropical fish. You can set the heating cable (which is located at the bottom of the tank) directly connect.
Extension of the sensor cable
The sensor’s signal lead is 2 m long. For example, for pond heating, it can be extended to a maximum of 50 meters, but the temperature controller must be installed indoors.
Tip for extension: cut the sensor cable and use 2 junction boxes the desired extension with 4-wire signal cable.
