Product description
The Pt1000 flue gas sensor (Pt1000-1929) is a heat-resistant, industrial temperature sensor for accurately measuring and controlling high temperatures up to 400 °C, such as those found in flue gas ducts and metal structures. The sensor operates on the Pt1000 resistance principle (1000 Ω at 0 °C) and requires no power supply, ensuring a stable, reliable measurement.
This version features a stainless steel (V4A) sensor housing and a heat-resistant, braided steel connection cable with internal fibreglass insulation. The flat end of the sensor is equipped with a mounting hole, making it easy to attach to metal surfaces or pipes, for example in flue gas extraction or heat exchanger systems.
Thanks to its robust construction and high temperature resistance, the Pt1000‑1929 is suitable for continuous use in heavy industrial environments in combination with Pt1000-compatible temperature controllers.
Product application
The Pt1000 flue gas sensor is used in, among other things:
- Flue gas and exhaust gas temperature measurement
- Measurement on metal pipes, conduits and surfaces
- Industrial heating and combustion plant
- High-temperature process and safety monitoring
The 2-core connection cable can be extended up to a maximum of 50 metres without any significant loss of measurement accuracy, provided it is connected correctly.
