Automatic control for two electrical devices. Specifically designed for DIN rail mounting [NB: This temperature controller is not suitable for outdoor use unless it is installed in an IP65 outdoor enclosure. Standard equipped with a Pt1000 sensor. PT1000 sensors operate without a power supply and are also accurate if you extend the 2-wire connection cable. Optionally, you can also choose the PT1000 10m sensor. The switching temperature is adjustable in steps of one degree Celsius. The display temperature shows 1 digit after the decimal point. This temperature controller is very easy to operate. It can also be used as a thermometer and has a memory for the highest and lowest measured temperature. The setpoint range of the temperature controller is wide, making it suitable for frost protection but also for all kinds of applications with electric heating, including heating cables.
Applications
Adjustable hysteresis
The switching accuracy is freely adjustable from 0.1 °C to 10 °C. Application examples: DIN rail temperature controller Pt1000: Replacement for defective thermostats in heating systems, as backup control for air conditioners, for the monitoring and control of temperatures, for example in the production of beer and strong drinks or in the greenhouse for temperature-controlled ventilation. In the case of frost protection, the connected device or heating strip will only receive mains power if the ambient temperature is lower than the switching temperature you have set yourself. A value of 3 to 5 °C is common. This can be easily adjusted.
