Product description

Strong and flexible heating cable with a reinforced outer sheath. This 230V heating cable is equipped with waterproof connectors and a 2.5-meter-long connection end that does not get hot. Application: underfloor heating in cement (deck) floors and concrete. Can also be used as patio heating.

Applications

Use as frost protection

This heating cable may be used in gutters, roofs and other uninsulated applications at an ambient temperature of up to approximately +10 ºC, provided that it is able to dissipate its heat effectively.

Beware of overheating: maintain a minimum of 50 mm of gap between warm cable sections everywhere. Shortening to a maximum of 10% of the original length is technically possible, but only for dry applications and with consideration of insulation safety.

The heat output is 20 watts per meter of cable length. For this type of cable, a temperature control (thermostat) is always required.
