The tracing repair kit has been developed for repairing and connecting two 2-wire tracing wire cable sections. The kit consists of high-quality crimp connectors and crimp sleeves in various sizes, allowing for a solid and reliable electrical connection.
This repair kit is suitable for use with the FV‑10 type heat-shrink tubing and the FV‑25 type thermolint tubing. The included shrink tubing provides mechanical protection and electrical insulation for the connection. A clear assembly instruction is included.
Product application
The repair kit is used to connect or repair damaged tracing strips in frost protection and temperature-control installations:
- Repair of interrupted tracing strips
- Connecting two 2-wire tracing cable sections
- Maintenance work on existing tracing systems
The crimp sleeve must be heated with hot air, for example with a soldering iron or a hair dryer.
Important: Assembly is intended solely for trained personnel. Use in wet applications is not recommended, as factory-made mortar connections are applied under controlled conditions (pressure, temperature, and adhesive).
