Product description
The Pt1000 screw sensor (Pt1000 Teflon M6) is a robust and accurate temperature sensor with an M6 thread, designed for direct mounting in metal surfaces, pipes or structural parts. The sensor operates on the Pt1000 resistance principle (1000 Ω at 0 °C) and requires no supply voltage, ensuring a stable and interference-free measurement.
The sensor has a metal (stainless steel) housing and is equipped with a PTFE (Teflon) connection cable, making it exceptionally resistant to high temperatures and aggressive environmental conditions. Thanks to the screw mounting, a good thermal coupling is guaranteed, which is essential for accurate measurements.
The Pt1000 Teflon M6 is suitable for temperature measurements up to +260 °C and is widely used in industrial and technical installations in combination with Pt1000-compatible temperature controllers.
Product application
This Pt1000 screw sensor is suitable for, amongst other things:
- Temperature measurement in metal tubes, pipes and plates
- Screw-in mounting in machine and plant components
- Control engineering for heating cables and trace heating systems
- Industrial applications involving elevated temperature loads
The 2-wire signal cable can be extended up to a maximum of 50 metres without any significant loss in measurement accuracy, provided it is correctly connected.
