The frost convector is a safe solution for keeping a small space frost-free. It is easy to operate with a rotary knob. This convector is maintenance-free, as it contains no fan or other moving parts.
Applications
Applications: meter cupboard, utility room, cellar, shed, greenhouse, site hut, boat, campervan. If you leave enough space around the casing (above 29 cm, sides 11 cm and underneath 6 cm), you can leave the frost convector connected to the mains supply unattended for long periods of time. This comes in particularly handy in the (kitchen or bathroom) of a summerhouse or chalet.
The frost convector is compact and very robust in design. Its casing is made entirely of metal, which is safer than synthetic material (plastic) with regard to heat generation. The metal feet ensure a sufficient distance from the partition or wall and contain holes for screwing the convector into place. Mounting materials are supplied.
Thermostat with dial
The built-in thermostat is mechanical (contains no electronics) and very easy to operate with a large rotary knob*. The temperature is infinitely adjustable from +5 to 35 ºC. Naturally, the heat demand of the room in question determines the maximum achievable temperature. For larger spaces, we recommend a convector with a higher output.
Frost convector – 200 or 400 Watt
- 200 Watt – rooms up to 8 m³
- 400 Watt – rooms up to 16 m³
The frost guard is equipped with a bimetallic thermostat. As soon as you have set the thermostat to the desired position, for example 1 or 2 etc., it will operate at the desired temperature with a variance of +/- 2 degrees depending on the ambient temperature. The control range of the thermostat is +5 to +35 degrees, where 1 is the lowest (5 degrees) and 6 is the highest (35 degrees).
