The Pt1000 surface sensor (Pt1000-0,25sil) is a compact and accurate temperature sensor for measuring and controlling temperatures directly on (metallic) surfaces. The sensor operates according to the Pt1000 resistance principle (1000 Ω at 0 °C) and does not require a power supply, making it particularly reliable for control technology.
This version features a 45° cable shoe with a wide mounting hole of 6 mm, allowing the sensor to be easily and securely attached to a surface using a bolt or screw. The 25 cm silicone signal cable is heat-resistant and flexible, ideal for applications where limited space is available.
The Pt1000 surface sensor is suitable for temperature measurements up to 180 °C and is often used in combination with Pt1000-compatible thermostats and temperature controllers.
Product application
This surface sensor is used, among other things, for:
- Measuring temperature on metal pipes and plates
- Control engineering for heating cables and trace heating systems
- Temperature measurement on machines, housings and construction parts
- Applications where surface measurement is desired without a dip sleeve
The 2-wire signal cable can be extended up to 50 meters if necessary without significant impact on the measurement accuracy (with correct connection).
