Product description
Strong and flexible heating cable with a reinforced outer jacket. This 230V heating cable has waterproof sleeves and on one side a 2.5 meter long connection end that does not get hot. Application: floor heating in cement (screed) floors and concrete. Can also be used as terrace heating.
Applications
Use as frost protection
This heating cable may be used in gutters, roofs and other uncovered applications at ambient temperatures up to about +10 ºC, provided it can dissipate its heat properly.
Beware of overheating: maintain at least 50 mm loop distance between hot cable sections everywhere. Shortening to a maximum of 10% of the original length is technically possible, but only for dry applications and taking into account insulation safety.
The heat output is 20 watts per meter of cable length. A temperature controller (thermostat) is always required for this type of cable. See below under Relevant Products.
