Product description
This remote temperature monitor contains a GSM detector and a sensor that measures whether the temperature falls below the critical value. This allows you to prevent frost damage to fruit trees by taking timely measures. The temperature alarm continuously monitors the temperature and registers every change. You determine the alarm temperature yourself and if there is a risk of frost, you will receive a telephone call or a text message. You can set and change the MIN and MAX values for the alarm temperature yourself. If these limits are exceeded, the night frost alarm sends a text message with the current temperature on site.
Applications
Outdoor temperature alarm
The night frost alarm is in a waterproof box, with a sensor attached to it, the cable of which you can pull out about 70 cm. Other wiring is not necessary, because the batteries are also in the box. It is therefore very easy to change the reporting location, because this temperature alarm is not dependent on mains voltage. Optionally, it is possible to choose a mains adapter, which also sends a message in the event of a power failure
SIM card for temperature alarm
The wireless night frost alarm contains a GSM module, for which any normal SIM card can be used. It is suitable for subscription and prepaid cards. To receive an alarm, you can enter 1 to 5 different numbers, both for GSM and a landline. You can also choose a subscription form with the supplier, which also gives you access to an internet portal where you can see the logged values. Here too, you will receive notifications from the device such as power failure.
Night frost alarm to GSM & internet portal**
In the event of a risk of freezing, the night frost alarm detector sends an SMS message (set by yourself) and/or a call. In the event of an alarm, a maximum of 5 different telephone numbers can be called. As soon as one of these accepts the alarm call, calling other numbers automatically stops. It is also possible to see the current status in an internet portal**
Works on batteries
The night frost alarm works on batteries and reports itself when they are almost empty. The batteries are included in the delivery and last 1 year with normal use. If you choose the optional power adapter, this lifespan is extended to 3 years
Setting options temperature alarm
The night frost alarm can be switched on time-controlled (automatic) or manually (via your mobile phone). This night frost alarm is also suitable for other applications, thanks to the room temperature range and the weatherproof housing. Think for example of storage spaces for fruit and vegetables. For this you can give the housing a fixed place on the wall. The detector contains functions for alarm texts of your choice and alarm repetition or delay. You operate it with your smartphone; so without connecting a laptop or wiring. With a normal SIM card (provider of your choice) it can be used immediately. TIP: With your own mobile phone you can check in advance whether the signal of the mobile network is strong enough at the desired location. Functionalities Temperature alarm GSM-4275:

Added value sim/portal
As a SIM card, we recommend activating the supplied Mobeye SIM card. This allows the device to communicate via both 4G LTE-M and 2G and is a “multi-provider”. It chooses the strongest network on site, has very good penetration and therefore provides a reliable connection. With the Mobeye SIM card, the device is also connected to the Mobeye Portal and the Mobeye Messages app. This provides additional security and user-friendliness. The status of one or more devices can be seen at a glance on the dashboard. Programming is done online, the incoming test messages are automatically checked, and in the event of problems, contacts are warned via app, call, text message and/or e-mail. Reporting to a control room (PAC) is also possible. The SIM card costs €4/month* excl. VAT (flat fee for normal use), (annual) payment is online, or -on request- on invoice. Can be used throughout Europe. *Please note: prices may vary. See link below for current prices.
Your own SIM card is also possible (NL: KPN or Vodafone, no t-Mobile or subsidiaries). The device then works (only) via 2G and the Mobeye Portal functions will be cancelled. In the event of an alarm, it will call and/or text (to max. 5 numbers). Please note that a prepaid card expires if the card is not used for too long.
