Product description
This GSM detector has a sensor that measures when the temperature has dropped below the value you have set yourself. This allows you to prevent frost damage. The universal detector is also suitable for monitoring technical installations, cooling equipment and storage areas for fruit, fireworks, etc. The night frost alarm continuously monitors the temperature and registers any deviation. If the temperature becomes 'dangerous', you will receive a telephone call or an alarm via SMS. You can easily program the MIN and MAX values yourself. If these are exceeded, the detector sends an SMS message with the current temperature on site. A telephone call to 1 to 5 different numbers, both mobile and landline, is also possible.
Applications
Night frost alarm on batteries
The GSM Alarm temperature is not dependent on the mains voltage. The power consumption is very low; the supplied batteries last for more than a year. With the optional mains adapter (see photo 2), the GSM detector can also operate on 230 Volts. This has the advantage that you also receive a notification when the mains voltage fails.
SIM card for night frost alarm
The wireless temperature alarm contains a GSM module, for which you can use any normal SIM card, also prepaid. In addition to the connection for the external temperature sensor, there are 2 alarm inputs. Each voltage-free switching contact can be used to generate an alarm, such as a security on the door or window.
Night frost alarm to your GSM
The night frost alarm detector sends the SMS message you have set yourself and/or a call. A maximum of 5 different telephone numbers can be called in the event of an alarm. As soon as one of these accepts the alarm call, calling other numbers stops.
4G LTE-M + 2G EGSM Quad band
The supplied SIM card and Internet Portal provide full functionality and optimum security. The 4G LTE-M network is very reliable and ensures high penetration at low energy consumption. 2G is available as a fallback**
2G EGSM Quad band
When using your own SIM card, the device works (only) on 2G. The operation is ‘standalone’, without using the Portal. The alarm notifications are sent via SMS and telephone call to (max.) 5 contacts. Programming is done via (simple) SMS commands.
Works on batteries or mains adapter
The night frost alarm works on batteries and reports automatically when they are almost empty. In combination with an external adapter (choose option: with mains power + cable) you also have monitoring of the mains voltage. You will then receive an SMS message when the 230 Volt has failed.
Frost alarm setting options
This frost alarm offers many more options due to the room temperature range, alarm texts of your choice, adjustable alarm repetition and delay. The batteries are included and last 1 year with normal use. With a normal SIM card (purchase this yourself) it can be used immediately. TIP: You can use your own mobile phone to check in advance whether the mobile network signal is strong enough at the desired location.

Added value sim/portal
As a SIM card, we recommend activating the supplied Mobeye SIM card. This allows the device to communicate via both 4G LTE-M and 2G and is a “multi-provider”. It chooses the strongest network on site, has very good penetration and therefore provides a reliable connection. With the Mobeye SIM card, the device is also connected to the Mobeye Portal and the Mobeye Messages app. This provides additional security and user-friendliness. The status of one or more devices can be seen at a glance on the dashboard. Programming is done online, the incoming test messages are automatically checked, and in the event of problems, contacts are warned via app, call, text message and/or e-mail. Reporting to a control room (PAC) is also possible. The SIM card costs €4/month* excl. VAT (flat fee for normal use), (annual) payment is online, or -on request- on invoice. Can be used throughout Europe. *Please note: prices may vary. See link below for current prices.
Your own SIM card is also possible (NL: KPN or Vodafone, no t-Mobile or subsidiaries). The device then works (only) via 2G and the Mobeye Portal functions will expire. In the event of an alarm, it will call and/or text (to max. 5 numbers). Please note that a prepaid card expires if the card is not used for too long.
