The drum heater is an insulated heating blanket. A high-quality silicone heating element is sewn inside the insulated blanket. This heating element can heat up to 90°C. The drum heater has been specially developed for heating plastic storage drums, but due to its versatile application it can also be used on steel drums. The drum heater is available in all industry-recognised drum sizes.
Applications
The heating blanket is used for heating substances and for reducing viscosity. This is done with substances such as fats, oils, resins and foodstuffs. In addition, the heating blanket is also extremely suitable for frost protection. The blanket is used in a wide variety of industries, but primarily in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
