Product description

The barrel heater is an insulated heating blanket. A high quality silicone heating element is sewn into the insulated blanket. This heating element can heat up to 90°C. The barrel heater is specially designed for heating plastic storage drums, but can also be used on steel drums due to its versatile application. The barrel heater is available in all industry recognized barrel sizes.

Applications

The heating blanket is used for heating substances and reducing viscosity. This is done with substances such as fats, oils, resins and foodstuffs. It is also ideal for frost protection. The blanket is used in a wide variety of industries, yet mainly in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
