Road surface heating control for 3 elements
The control ensures that the road surface heating system switches on automatically as soon as there is a danger of slipperiness due to ice, sleet or snow. When the road surface is dry (again) it switches the installation off, so that energy consumption remains limited.
This control is suitable for any type of road surface heating, regardless of the energy source: electric, central heating or heat pump. It can be mounted on a DIN rail (in a control cabinet) or against the wall. The LCD screen allows you to check the settings.
The control can switch 3 elements of 16 A (400 volts) each, or 3x 3600 watts. For higher powers you need external switching relays.
Applications
Road sensor measures temperature and moisture
The road surface sensor can be used in concrete or asphalt. Placement in a road surface with tiles or pavers is also possible. The connection cable between sensor and control may be extended (with 6x 1.5 mm2) to a maximum of 200 meters.
